Well, I was right to be worried......those metal sticks mean real trouble. I can't believe mum and dad got up at 6am on a Saturday morning, got me all excited, took me for a pee pee, then put their spikey shoes on left me home ALONE !! How could they forget me??
.........Fortunately, after sitting and staring at the front door for over an hour my best "human" friend Joerg came and relieved my great state of anxiousness by taking me out for a run with my mates. Joerg is great, he picks me up in his red van, I jump in with all the other dogs and then off we go.... 3 or 4 walks a day - with all my mates and some lovely lady doggies - brilliant.
The only bad part about Joerg is when we get back to my place he doesn't want to play or lay on the sofa with me.....he just shuts the door and leaves me.....alone.
Usually I'm pretty tired at this point having worked pretty hard all day terrorising small dogs, sniffing alot (and I mean alot) of doggie bots (that one's for you DP :-), guarding all my lady dogs and generally ensuring the entire canine population of Dusseldorf receives their daily workout - but I can't possibly sleep as I am on my own - so I sit on my chair staring fixatedly at the front door waiting for it to open.
It seems like hours before the door opens but when it does, boy, am I pleased to see them - I thought they would never come back. I always go nuts, jump up, bash my tail, waggle my butt, lick their faces and give them a cuddle just to make sure they know how much I missed them in the hope they never leave me alone again.
It's now Sunday morning, Dad is in bed sleeping, he has had a really busy week getting out of the car in the morning and getting back in about 10 hours later. Grandma who arrived last night is also sleeping which is no fun......only mum is up and she is.......hold on a minute, what's mum doing......? OH NO....... she's got a funny peak thing on her head and she keeps putting things in the bag with the metal sticks.
Surely she isn't leaving me again.........
